Restaurant Philosophy

After conquering the city’s private dining sector with her iconic private kitchen, Ta Pantry, chef Esther Sham extended her passion for cooking further to the restaurant industry and Maison ES was born in 2015.

 

Being born in a traditional Shanghainese household, raised in the “City of Angels” in California, and trained in France where people view eating as not just a neutral act, but as culture, this family oriented model-turned-chef was destined to carry on what she does best in the culinary industry in her new realm.

 

By cleverly fusing her favourite family recipes with traditional French cooking techniques, her love for food and family is reflected through the creation she puts on the plate and chef Esther wishes to captivate more diners’ hearts with her truly East-Meets-West Asian French cuisine for many more years to come.
